The humans behind the lasers
After years of working in the aerospace industry I decided the next logical step was obviously to point lasers at climbing walls. As one does.
Armed with a background in irrelevant topics such as rocket propulsion, fluid and thermodynamics, computational physics, and a deep love for climbing (specifically the kind where you stare at holds for 10 minutes trying to figure out which ones are yours), I set out to solve a problem every spray-wall climber knows: "Wait, which hold was that again?"
LZRvision was born from that frustration, a healthy dose of engineering obsession, and a frankly irresponsible number of late nights. The result? A tiny box that sees your wall, talks to your phone, and lights up your route with a laser beam. Aerospace engineering credentials: finally being used for something truly important.
The kind of person who can look at a problem, squint for a second, and tell you exactly what's wrong with your approach. Invaluable and slightly intimidating.
Unrelenting source of wisdom, honest feedback, and the occasional reality check. Probably right about at least 80% of his suggestions. We don't tell him that.
These brave souls volunteered their walls, their patience, and their honest opinions.
